Sunny San Diego

After our 3 fun filled days at Disneyland we headed a little further south to sunny San Diego to spend a little more time with the Bergums and to see some of the sites.  Delaney and her cousins had a great time playing together too.  

A trip to San Diego would not be complete without a beach day and luckily the weather was perfect for it.  We went to one of our favorite beaches in Del Mar and Delaney absolutely loved it.  She spent the whole time waiting for a wave to break when she would say, "here it comes" and turn to run.   As you can see Miss D got soaked when she didn't quite outrun one of the bigger ones!    

Just after getting knocked over by the wave she asked if we could "go home?"  Perhaps she isn't destined to be a surfer-girl?

While we were in San Diego we also took advantage of taking Delaney to Little Locks a toy boutique and children's hair salon for her first haircut.  She sat in a silver Mercedes Benz and got her beautiful red locks cut into a perfect little bob.   It did take a little bribery with a lollipop for her hold still.

 We spent one day at the San Diego Zoo and saw all of Delaney's favorite 
animals: elephants, monkeys, a tiger, giraffes and lots of others.   She has been growling like a tiger ever since.
