I am a brown thumb. There, I said it. I aspire to become a green thumb and to that end I have undertaken a COMPLETE overhaul of the flower beds in my new front yard. They were neglected for the entire growing season while our house was on the market and had become completely overgrown with phlox and weeds. Garret and the kids were game to help and so pics follow. Didn't think to snap any before pics...the after pics will come next year if the plants survive ; )

Our beneficial organisms....there were literally THOUSANDS of ladybugs.
