We just returned from a trip back home to Montana. No matter how long we are gone we consider Montana our home and in a matter of moments in that beautiful state with its open spaces, mountains, fresh air and laid back attitude our stresses seem to melt away.
We spent some time in Bozeman for Sweet Pea. Lisa and cousins Brynn and Laurelin were there too. The girls ran in the Sweet Pea kids run and we enjoyed a day of Sweet Pea festivities. Takes me back to the old days for sure
We weren't so great at taking photos while we were in Billings visiting Gramma and Papa and cousins Simon and Wylie and their Mommy and Daddy. While we were there though we made a side trip to Buffalo WY to see Garret's Aunt Kelly and her family. You should know that Miss Delaney has been obsessed with horses since she rode ponies at the Dixon Mayfair this spring. While we were in WY she had the chance to ride on of Aunt Kelly's gentle old horse-Rebel which I think was probably the highlight of the whole trip. Sounds scary but he is 23 years old and mostly likes to eat grass when he's on a ride. We also went to the fair where she got to see (and touch) some of the animals!!
Oh yeah.....they even got Mommy on a horse BAREBACK!
Perhaps we have a budding rodeo queen on our hands?
As always our time at home was much too short. We love to be home with our families. Until next year.....

So glad that you got to spend most of the time in Billings and that we got to know Delaney and meet Lil Braden. Simon loved getting to know Uncle Gar and D'ster. Thanks also that Grandma and Grandpa had so many great things lined up to make for a really fantastic week. Also great to connect with the Goodells again. Maybe next summer?
